Angry Birds Space Encounter Now Open -New for 2013!!!
For the first time anywhere, Angry Birds are flying from the digital screen to the hands-on real world at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex's Angry Birds Space Encounter.
After entering the Angry Birds wormhole, guests have the opportunity to experience any of the seven interactive exhibits. They include:
- Create Your Own Angry Bird and make a customized Angry Bird on a computer screen
- Cold Cuts Tile Puzzle, where different levels of complex puzzles challenge guests
- Eggsteriod Slingshot where launching small Angry Birds at pigs can score points.
Guests will also enjoy weaving their way through the Danger Zone mirror maze and the Red Planet Laser Challenge, then move to Game Zone area. Family members have the opportunity to remember the experience when they use the green screen photo area to select an Angry Birds background for a individual or family photograph.
The new exhibit is included in regular admission to the Visitor Complex.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a fascinating, behind-the-scenes look at the space program. Tour NASA’s launch headquarters and see space shuttle launch pads from a four-story observation gantry. Walk beneath a massive Saturn V moon rocket and relive Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon. Experience the thrill of Lunch with an Astronaut. Listen to inspiring space travel stories and ask questions of a NASA space hero, all while enjoying a delicious meal. The program begins with a buffet lunch and a video presentation of “everyday” life on the space shuttle. The main event is a personalized presentation by a featured astronaut about what it was like to live in space, and concludes with a Question & Answer session and photo opportunity.
